In recent years, the Centre Sèvres entrusted Jano XHENSEVAL with the restoration of a significant part of its premises. The large auditorium, the conference rooms, the seminar rooms, the student lounge, and the circulation areas were entirely reimagined by the artist. More than a mere decorative effort, it is the space itself that has been transformed through the treatment of surfaces. The interplay of colors and lines, modulated from room to room, finds its unity in a very personal style. For in Jano XHENSEVAL, the painter and the architect merge into a single rhythmic gesture. Likewise, those who inhabit this place for research and teaching now find a sense of calm and a quality of forms and colors that resonate with them as a call.
